About

Oshan Starreveld is a young creative who works out of Toronto. She is a graduate of Ryerson’s Performance Production program 2019. A long time heartfelt poetry writer she branched out in her secondary education into the world of costume, fabric art, and experimental sound.

After graduation she started a relationship with Jumblies Theatre where she is developing a community based arts practice. She recently has had the pleasure to be a part of Odaabaanag, creating a large map of lake superior and facilitating embroidery. She then was part the collective work called What Was My Back Yard where she was a dancer, costume designer, and large drop cloth maker.

Along with professional work she is always making art in her spare time and looking for the next project to pour herself into.
